Services: Denver, Boulder and the Foothills

In 2015, after graduating from Florida State University I packed up my car and headed West, looking to find a place to settle where I could embrace my love of the outdoors and discover a career that I was passionate about. When I first left I thought that place would be California, but after stopping in Colorado on the way there I pivoted and never looked back.

I found my way into the real estate industry when I was hired as a marketing coordinator at the City Park branch of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. During my time at Fairway I discovered the wealth building power of real estate and the advantage of first time home buyer programs which inspired me to buy my first property, with less than $1,000 out of pocket.

I ended up getting my loan officer’s license, but soon came to the conclusion that working with clients on the retail side of the industry was better suited to my passions and personality.

Luckily, I connected with a top producing agent, Jason Cummings, and joined him as his Marketing Director in 2018. Jason and I instantly hit it off and hit the ground running to build on the network and deep connections that he had nurtured over his long career. I ended up taking on more responsibility and managing the operations aspects of his business as we grew revenue from $30 million/year to a projected $98 million this year! Our secret is an elevated real estate experience that is especially curated to each of our clients and their unique situations. Whether that means providing a luxurious listing experience that includes professional decluttering, staging, and photography with every listing or a first-class buyer experience.

In 2020 we had the good fortune of being able to take advantage of the scorching Denver market and completed a fix and flip of a property that Jason had purchased with a small group of investors. Throughout the process I acted as designer and stepped up as GC to get the remodel completed within our 4 month goal. We were able to sell it in the first weekend for more than $50,000 over our initial asking price. All of those experiences have kept me very busy over the last 5 years, but they’ve also taught me so much and fueled my fire to learn more.

Outside of work my boyfriend, now husband, and I purchased our home in 2019 and remodeled the basement as a short-term rental, a house-hacking strategy I learned while working in loans. Eventually, when we had experienced some success renting out our basement and our tenants moved out we saw the chance to sell our first condo (which we had been renting out long-term) and use the proceeds to purchase a small condo in Winter Park, Colorado. One of our favorite towns and one of our favorite places to be, we love our ski-town escape and are able to rent it short-term when we’re not using it.

Now, I have partnered with Stephanie of Mid-Century Modern Dream Homes to grow the Denver segment of the business, and look forward to helping buyers and sellers in Denver make their mid-century modern dreams come true!
